The idea behind the album:

Why did man first start to make music? Maybe he wanted to imitate the rhythm of nature? Did it turn out to be an essential part of the ancient rituals? Or maybe it was just entertainment?
Some opinions say that the origin of music came from natural sounds and rhythms. Even today, some cultures have certain form of imitating natural sounds.
This was the idea, the research behind this album.
I was looking for new sounds, something that reconnect myself to nature, in terms of sonority and in terms of rhythm. I was looking for something with a slower tempo, I wanted to emphasize more on tone and atmosphere. I wanted to evoke visuals and mix raw and more elaborated sounds together.
I went to visit Guy Thevenon, a French music passionate with a collection of musical instruments: started more than thirty years ago, with more than 800 musical instruments originating from all over the world, ranging from prehistory to the traditional music of each country up to today's music elaborated from recycled materials.
I worked with him, recording almost every single instruments of his collection, aiming to link the old with the new: I was ready to change my approach to my music production, spending months on sampling all the sounds I have recorded.
In the beginning was the noise, the noise engendered the rhythm, the rhythm engendered everything else ...
